The Moruya 2012 Changeover was an historic one as Clare Hack became this clubs' first female president. Clare takes over from PP Terry Young and as Terry's President report indicated, it was a very busy year for the club. To read Terry's report and the Changeover bulletin click here
Clare introduced her 2012/13 board which includes Ron Lunt (P.E. & Secretary), Tony Armstrong (Treasurer), Rohan Gleeson (New Generations), Allan Veness (Membership), Ken McLeod (Foundation), Marian Webb (Community Service), Derek Anderson (Vocation), John Sewell (Bulletin Editor), Steve Young (Catering), Hugh Owen-Jones (Publicity), Pauline Gleeson (Club Administration) & Terry Young PP.
The Club honoured Past President 2010/11 - Derek Anderson with a Sapphire Pin. Derek was recognised for his community work within the Shire. He was presented with the Sapphire Pin by Moruya Rotary's very own DG Phil Armstrong.
Past President 2009/10 Rohan Gleeson received the highest honour an individual club can give - the Avenues of Service Award. This award recognises the extraordinary amount of time and responsiblity Rohan has given during his Rotary life. Whilst this is a club recognition it can only be given with the approval from Rotary International.
